چکیده
Purpose. Surface mining is one of the main activities that affect environment, economy and society in its surrounding region. Therefore, it important to investigate results this activity terms sustainability assessment. Measuring a mine requires methodology which covers all aspects sustainability. The purpose article assess career development determine components require modification more consideration. Methodology. Many researchers have tried develop certain frameworks measure sustainable score activities, while some them are complicated rest do not cover sustainability. In research work, order evaluate an open-pit mine, Folchi method based on Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) approach was used. With respect, primarily, influential factors impact each factor component were investigated. Findings. In regard, Anguran lead zinc chosen as case study. A correlation matrix weighted environmental built up experts opinion. Afterwards, magnitude calculated. Originality. The obtained using demonstrated human health safety, water quality, air flora fauna, well surface become decisive mine. Practical value. Finally, can be concluded quarry characterized by significant degree resilience due low level influence factors, there no need modify any factors.

A New Semi-Quantitative Approach to Open-Pit Mine Sustainability Assessment
Sustainability assessment has received numerous attentions in the mining industry. Mining sustainability includes the environmental, economic, and social dimensions, and a sustainable development is achieved when all these dimensions improve in a balanced manner. Therefore, to measure the sustainability score of a mine, we require an approach that evaluates all these three dimensions of mining ...
متن کاملA New Cost Model for Estimation of Open Pit Copper Mine Capital Expenditure
One of the most important issues in all stages of mining study is capital cost estimation. Determination of capital expenditure is a challenging issue for mine designers. In recent decade, quite a few number of studies have focused on proposing estimation models to predict mining capital cost. However, these efforts have not achieved to a predictor model with reliable range of error. Both of ov...
متن کاملA genetic algorithm approach for open-pit mine production scheduling
In an Open-Pit Production Scheduling (OPPS) problem, the goal is to determine the mining sequence of an orebody as a block model. In this article, linear programing formulation is used to aim this goal. OPPS problem is known as an NP-hard problem, so an exact mathematical model cannot be applied to solve in the real state. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a well-known member of evolutionary algorithms...
متن کاملA practical approach to open-pit mine planning under price uncertainty using information gap decision theory
In the context of open-pit mine planning, uncertainties including commodity price would significantly affect the technical and financial aspects of mining projects. A mine planning that takes place regardless of the uncertainty in price just develops an optimized plan at the starting time of the mining operation. Given the price change over the life of mine, which is quite certain, optimality o...
متن کاملA new developed model to determine waste dump site selection in open pit mines: An approach to minimize haul road construction cost
Today, during the life of an open pit mine, million tons of materials, including waste and ore, are displacing by truck fleets. In the case of a shallow ore deposit, which is located up to 300 meters to the ground surface, depending on preliminary equipment size and capacity, it will take three to five years to remove overburden and waste rocks to expose the ore body. In that period, the main w...
